Portrait of a Young Woman, Possibly Susanna Reael — Isaack Luttichuys
Isaack Luttichuys. Painted 1656.
The woman portrayed may be Susanna Reael at the age of 18, who later married Hiob de Wildt. She died when she was only 25, shortly after giving birth to their son David. The portrait was owned by the De Wildt family for centuries. Therefore, it still has the original frame, decorated with auricular shapes and flowers.
